Cancellation, Return & Refund Policy – The Medico Store

We aim to provide a smooth and hassle-free shopping experience to all our customers, including easy cancellation, return, and refund processes wherever applicable.

2. Order Cancellation Policy

2.1 Before Dispatch

Customers may cancel their order before the product has been dispatched from our warehouse.

2.2 After Dispatch

Once the order has been shipped, cancellation may not be possible. However, customers may refuse to accept the delivery at the time of arrival.

For prepaid orders, refunds will be processed after the returned shipment is received and verified by us.

3. Return Policy

3.1 Eligible Return Reasons

Returns will only be accepted under the following conditions:

  • Damaged product received

  • Wrong product delivered

  • Expired product delivered

  • Missing item in order

  • Empty package delivered

  • Used or tampered product received

  • Leakage or manufacturing defect

3.2 Return Request Timeline

Customers must raise a return request within 48 hours (2 days) of delivery of the product.

Requests raised after this period may not be accepted.

3.3 Return Conditions

To be eligible for return:

  • Product must remain unused

  • Original packaging, labels, invoice, and accessories must be available

  • Product should not be tampered with intentionally

  • Images/videos of damaged or incorrect products may be required for verification

4. Non-Returnable Products

Returns or refunds will not be accepted in the following cases:

  • Opened or used skincare/cosmetic products

  • Products damaged due to misuse

  • Products without original packaging

  • Returns requested after the allowed return period

  • Minor packaging damage that does not affect product quality

  • Allergic reactions or skin incompatibility after use

  • Products purchased during clearance or special sale events unless damaged

5. Refund Policy

5.1 Refund Approval

Once the returned product is received and inspected by our team, eligible refunds will be approved.

5.2 Refund Timeline

Approved refunds are generally processed within 3–7 business days.

The time taken for the amount to reflect in your account may depend on your bank or payment provider.

5.3 Refund Method

  • Prepaid orders → Refunded to the original payment method

  • Cash on Delivery (COD) orders → Refunded through bank transfer or UPI after customer shares payment details

We do not provide cash refunds.

6. Damaged or Tampered Packages

Customers are advised not to accept packages that appear opened, damaged, or tampered with at the time of delivery.

Acceptance of heavily tampered packages may affect eligibility for return or refund claims.

7. Exchange Policy

Currently, we may not offer direct product exchanges. Customers may initiate a return (if eligible), and place a new order separately.

8. Special Sale & Promotional Orders

During promotional events, mega sales, or limited-time offers, specific return or refund conditions may apply. Such conditions will be mentioned on the website during the respective campaign period.
